Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lumanoa Holdings LLC (“Lumanoa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Lumanoa care-coordination service, applications, and related websites (the “Service”).

1. Our privacy approach

Lumanoa is built around private care coordination. We do not sell personal information or health information. We do not use care information for advertising, and the Service is not supported by behavioral advertising.

2. Information you provide

Information may include account/profile information; Care Team membership and invitations; care-recipient information; medications and medication activity; appointments; vital readings; Daily Activities and functional-care entries; notes and caregiver observations; chat messages; Visit Prep selections and report inputs; preferences; and information submitted for support or feedback.

3. Scanning and assisted extraction

When you choose medication or appointment scanning, an image may be sent to an approved service provider to extract information and create an editable draft. You must review and confirm extracted information. Scan images are used for requested processing and are not intended to be retained by Lumanoa as part of the care record.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the Service; authenticate users; enforce Care Team, role, assignment, and recipient-level access; display user-entered care information; generate user-requested Visit Prep reports; support calendar features; process user-requested scanning; provide support; prevent abuse; maintain reliability; and meet legal obligations.

5. Service providers

We use service providers for cloud infrastructure, authentication/database services, user-requested scanning or AI-assisted processing, and application operations. Providers receive information reasonably necessary for their function and are expected to handle it under applicable contractual and security requirements.

6. Operational telemetry

Lumanoa may collect limited technical and operational information needed for reliability and troubleshooting. Our design limits telemetry to approved operational event types and is intended to exclude care content, raw internal identifiers, credentials, medication details, appointment details, vital values, Daily Activity content, notes, chat content, generated report content, invitation secrets, and calendar tokens.

7. Visit Prep and calendar features

Visit Prep reports are generated from information selected or recorded by the Care Team. Report-generation files are intended to be temporary rather than a separate permanent report archive. Protect report files and calendar links as sensitive care information.

8. Sharing within a Care Team

Information is shared according to Care Team membership, role, recipient assignment, and feature. Owners and authorized administrators may manage access. Caregivers can be restricted to assigned recipients.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain information while needed to provide the Service and for legitimate security, legal, fraud-prevention, backup, and operational purposes. Account deletion removes account and associated data through Lumanoa’s normal deletion workflow, subject to limited information that must or reasonably needs to be retained. Specific backup and log retention periods may vary by provider and system and will be documented as the production retention schedule is finalized.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated access and recipient-scoped authorization controls. No service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children and account eligibility

Lumanoa accounts are for adults age 18 or older. An authorized adult account holder may coordinate care for a child or another care recipient of any age.

12. Medical-information boundary

Lumanoa is a consumer care-coordination tool. It is not a healthcare provider, medical record system, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice. The Service does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend dosage changes, or clinically interpret health information.

13. Your choices

You may manage Care Team access, choose whether to use optional features, and delete your account where available. Contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service, law, or our practices change. When required, we will provide notice and request renewed acceptance or consent.
